It’s with a heavy heart that we come to you today to share some difficult news regarding the future of Dead by Daylight Mobile. Due to ongoing shifts in NetEase Games’ development and operational strategies, the decision has been made to end service for Dead by Daylight Mobile as of March 20th, 2025.

While this marks the end of Dead by Daylight Mobile, our partners at Behaviour Interactive will continue to produce, support, and grow Dead by Daylight on PC and console, where we invite all players to continue their journey in The Entity’s Realm.

For those looking to make the switch, the team at Behaviour has prepared a Welcome Package to help compensate players for money spent and XP earned in Dead by Daylight Mobile.

Dead by Daylight Mobile will be officially removed from the App Store and Google Play Store on January 16th, 2025. As of this date, in-game purchases will no longer be possible. Players with Dead by Daylight Mobile already downloaded to their device are welcome to keep playing and using their existing currency and items until the servers officially close on March 20th.

Q: When will access to Dead by Daylight Mobile officially end?

A: Dead by Daylight Mobile will officially close its operations on March 20, 2025. The game will be removed from the App Store and Google Play on January 16, 2025.

 

Q: Will I still be able to play Dead by Daylight Mobile after it shuts down?

A: No. Players with Dead by Daylight Mobile already downloaded to their device before January 16th, 2025 may continue to play until support for the game officially ends on March 20th, 2025, at which point the game’s servers will no longer be available.

 

Q: If I’m already playing both Dead by Daylight Mobile and Dead by Daylight on PC or console, will I still receive a Welcome Package?

A: Absolutely. Our Welcome Package is intended as a thank-you to all Mobile players and can be claimed even if you’re already playing Dead by Daylight on PC or console.

 

Q: How will the shutdown affect my progress, inventory, and purchased content?

A: When the game’s servers shut down, Dead by Daylight Mobile will no longer be accessible to players.

 

Q: What happens if I delete Dead by Daylight Mobile after the game has been removed from the App Store and Google Play Store?

A: We will be removing the game from the App Store and Google Play on January 16, 2025. If you delete the game or get a new phone after the game has been removed from the app stores, you will not be able to download it again.

 

Q: What happens if I still have the game installed after March 20th, 2025?

A: Dead by Daylight Mobile requires a connection to our servers in order to play. Players with the game still installed after March 20th, 2025 will be unable to play.

 

Q: Can I use my in-game currency and everything I’ve collected?

A: Players can continue using their existing in-game purchases and items until access to the game is removed on March 20, 2025.

 

Q: Will I still be able to make in-game purchases?

A: Should players still wish to make in-game purchases they will only be able to do so until January 16, 2025 when Dead by Daylight Mobile is removed from the App Store and the Google Play Store.

 

Q: Can I get a refund on purchases?

A: Refunds will be handled by NetEase games according to the relevant laws of each region. The specific refund process will be announced on January 16, 2025.

1.Taiwan Region: Refund period is from 1/16/2025 to 4/19/2025

2.South Korea and Japan: Refund period is from 3/20/2025 to 6/26/2025

3.EU, EEA, Switzerland and UK: There will be a 14-day right of withdrawal for refunds on certain transactions under the applicable EU or UK regulations.

4.All Other Regions: Refunds for past purchases are not available. Players will be able to spend their remaining in-game currency and items before the game closes on March 20, 2025.

 

Q: How do I claim my Welcome Package?

A: To claim your Welcome Package, you’ll need a Behaviour Account, and a copy of Dead by Daylight on any platform that you’ve played at least once. Simply log in Dead by Daylight Mobile starting from 12/18/2024 and follow the link in game to the Welcome Package landing page, create or log into your Behaviour Account, select the platform you play on, and claim your rewards before 03/20/2025. They’ll be waiting for you in Dead by Daylight the next time you open the game.

 

Q: How will my Welcome Package work if I switch to Dead by Daylight on PC or console?

A: Dead by Daylight Mobile players that wish to switch over to PC or console will receive a one-time Welcome Package compensating them for money spent and XP earned in Dead by Daylight Mobile. The package will include:  

1.A standard welcome gift for all players consisting of 500,000 Bloodpoints and 2,250 Iridescent Shards.

2.Loyalty rewards based on money spent and XP earned in Dead by Daylight Mobile.*

· $0.01 to $4.99 USD – 150 Auric Cells and 1,800 Iridescent Shards  

· $5.00 to $9.99 USD – 300 Auric Cells and 3,600 Iridescent Shards  

· $10.00 to $29.99 USD – 600 Auric Cells and 10,800 Iridescent Shards  

· $30.00 to $49.99 USD – 1,000 Auric Cells and 18,000 Iridescent Shards  

· $50.00 to $99.99 USD – 2,000 Auric Cells and 35,640 Iridescent Shards  

· $100.00 to $149.99 USD  – 3,000 Auric Cells and 54,000 Iridescent Shards  

· $150.00 to $199.99 USD  – 4,000 Auric Cells and 72,000 Iridescent Shards  

· $200 or more – 5,000 Auric Cells and 108,000 Iridescent Shards  

*Rewards are based on local currencies converted to USD.

• 720 to 27,419 Total XP Earned (equivalent to Player Level 2-15) – 500,000 Bloodpoints  

• 27,420 to 55,619 Total XP Earned (equivalent to Player Level 16-25) – 1,000,000 Bloodpoints  

• 55,620 to 104,519 Total XP Earned (equivalent to Player Level 26-39) – 1,500,000 Bloodpoints   

• 104,520 XP Earned or more (equivalent to Player Level 40+) – 2,000,000 Bloodpoints

 

Please note that loyalty rewards are determined by your in-game progress at the time they are claimed. Should you continue playing Dead by Daylight Mobile after having claimed your loyalty reward, the additional progress won't carry over, so keep that in mind when making the switch to PC or console!
